Meet The Team

Dr. Flores
Over 24 Years of Veterinary Experience
Dr. Flores knew he wanted to become a veterinarian from a young age. As a child, he was surrounded by farm animals, dogs, and cats. Dr. Flores earned his degree from the University of Baja California Veterinary School.
Early in his career, Dr. Flores worked on a dairy farm for several years before moving to San Diego to pursue his veterinary license. During that time, he worked as a veterinary technician and purchased his practice, which he had developed for 16 years. Since then, he has supported the San Diego community by working in various animal hospitals.
When he isn’t taking care of his patients, Dr. Flores enjoys spending time with his family, three dogs and cat. He loves the outdoors, especially hiking, camping, and traveling.
Dr. Flores is looking forward to meeting existing and new clients and patients and cannot wait to provide you with exceptional care.

Esmé
Hi there! My name is Esmé and I have been in the veterinary field for approximately 6 years, working mostly in small animal general practice. I enjoy every aspect of veterinary medicine, but my special interests include surgery, dentistry and general practice medicine.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, hiking, fishing, photography and spending time with my family + our 5 cats and one scruffy pup.
Working with animals is truly a privilege, and I am blessed for the opportunity to serve the animals of our community at

Maddie
Hello! I'm Maddie, and I've been a vet assistant at Julian Pet Clinic for about 6 months. I absolutely love working with animals and discovering new things every day. Having grown up with dogs and cats, it's truly wonderful to be able to help them and spend time with them regularly. In my spare time, I enjoy visiting the sand dunes, going off-roading in our jeep, hiking and hanging out with my family and my dog, Yuma. It's a wonderful experience to work with animals, and I feel truly thankful to support the pets in our Julian community.

Sophie
Hi there! I'm Sophie, the receptionist at Julian Pet Clinic. I've been in the veterinary field for around 2 years and I'm always eager to learn more! I love seeing all the adorable pets every day and feel fortunate to connect with so many wonderful people. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and with my family. I can't wait to see what the future holds for our small-town clinic and I'm excited to be a part of it!
